The Naturalisation Board has not received an official answer from Russia about granting citizenship to V.Kononov; therefore it may not start a case to deprive Kononov of Latvian citizenship. On Monday, almost after one year period took place a meeting of Government Forming Factions Coalition Council. Former Government, led by A.Skele had refused from this Council, but now Prime Minister A.Berzins, respecting the opinion of TB/LNNK, decided to renew its activities. After the first meeting the Prime Minister was very hopeful about its work. The Chairman of TB/LNNK M.Grinblats said that this coalition agreement was better than the old one because it provided a clear decision taking process. Diena
