Russian politicians over the last days have expressed different opinions about the need to introduce economic sanctions against Latvia. The attitude is also connected with the trial of the former red partisan Vasily Kononov. Governor of the Pskov region who was just visiting Latvia announced that Pskov is interested to develop eceonomic cooperation with Latvia.
