• 50 asylum seekers from Turkey might be resettled to Latvia in the coming months

According to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Ilze Petersone-Godmane, about 50 asylum seekers from Turkey might be resettled to Latvia in the coming months. As reported, Latvia agreed to accept 531 asylum seekers in the framework of the refugee quota policy, mainly from Greece and Italy. So far, only six people have been relocated to Latvia.  News agency LETA
