Integration monitor
Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. Latvian Centre for Human Rights is not responsible for information published by the media.

Vesti Segodnya reports that the Cabinet of Ministers is about to approve granting of Latvian citizenship to 158 persons who recently went through the naturalisation process. 70% of applicants for citizenship are ethnic Russians, 11% are Ukrainians, 8% are Belorussians. 21% have elementary education, 53% - secondary, 23% - higher.
