Board member of the nationalists union All for Latvia!-For Fatherland and Freedom/LNIM, MP Janis Iesalnieks decided not to stand in the up-coming Saeimas election taking political responsibility for his statement about the tragic events in Norway. Janis Iesalnieks also resigned from the unions board members post. The State Language Centre (SLC) fined a board member of the political party For Human Rights in United (FHRUL) Latvia Aleksandrs Kuzmins for dissemination of leaflets in Russian language on 9 May during the celebration events of Victory Day in Riga. According to the decision of the SLC, the leaflets had to be translated into Latvian language for the security reasons and administrative control. Chas
