Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. The winner of the Saeima elections the Unity has offered the Concord Centre (CC) a cooperation agreement according to which the CC would receive the post of the Minister of Regional Development and Local Governments in exchange for their commitment to support the government and possible revision of the coalition in the Riga City Council. However, formally, the CC will not be included in the government coalition which is planned to be established by the Unity, the Union of Greens and Farmers and possibly with the nationalist union For Fatherland and Freedom/LNIM-All for Latvia! After the counting of pluses (preference indicated for the candidate) and rejections (by crossing candidate’s name) given to the party candidates by voters, members of the radical nationalist party All for Latvia! received six parliamentary seats. Newspapers report about a mass fight among ethnic Russian and Latvian youths on the election night in the centre of Riga.
