Members of major Saeima factions ("Saimnieks", "Tevzemei un Brivibai", LNNK, and "Latvijas Cels") hope that the Cabinet will remain stable despite recent resignations. Three ministers (Minister of Agriculture Roberts Dilba, Minister of Culture Rihards Piks, State Minister of Health Juris Vinkelis) resigned after the Prosecutor General's Office disclosed that they had violated the Anti-Corruption Law. Minister of the Interior Dainis Turlais resigned after the tragic accident in Talsi.
