The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. On Saturday, the radical right-wing political party All for Latvia! held a partys conference. The main aim of the conference was discussion and adoption of its pre-election campaign. The pre-election campaign indicates the following partys priorities: granting Latvian citizenship only to loyal towards the state persons; depriving citizenship for disrespectful attitude towards the state; ensuring that all national educational institutions provide education only in Latvian. Latvian MEP Rihards Piks will open an exhibition “History and Today of Ethnic Minorities in Latvia” in the premises of the European Parliament tomorrow.
