Yesterday the Governmental Committee accepted the procedure on the deprivation, refusal and renewal of the citizenship of Latvia. If a person wants to give up the status of a non-citizen, it is free of charge, however, if a person wants to give up the status of a citizen, he/she has to pay 15 lats.
