The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. The Society Integration Foundation has chosen five organisations which will implement projects on children exchange between ethnic minority and ethnic Latvian families. The aim of the projects is to promote children’s and their parents’ comprehension of cultural diversity, to evaluate the importance of cultural traditions, and to understand sense of belonging to the country and nation.
