Yesterday, the Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (member of the elections winner party the Unity) stated that the government coalition will be established by the Unity, the Union of Greens and Farmers and the union For Fatherland and Freedom/LNIM-All for Latvia! Mr. Dombroskis also stated that the Concord Centre (CC) was never offered to take part in the new government coalition. Earlier it was reported that the Unity offered the CC co-operation agreement and post of one of the ministers. According to Mr. Dombrovskis, the CC was offered only co-operation with the new government. According a representative of the State Language Centre Antons Kursitis, Russian language hinders economic development in Latvia. Mr. Kursitis believes that ethnic Latvians living in regions cannot come to Riga and to develop economics because they are not proficient in Russian but almost all employers demand for it.
