Integration monitor
Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticizes Latvian officials for the fact that unsanctioned procession of former Waffen SS legionnaires in the centre of Riga on 16 March (unofficial commemoration day of Latvian Waffen SS legionnaires) was not prevented and that, at the same time, the police activities were turned against anti-fascists.
