Integration monitor

The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. Latvijas Avize prints an article by psychologist Andris Tertars of Romani origin. Mr. Tertars considers that the draft national action plan for integration of Roma in Latvia 2007-2009 will ensure a possibility for active representatives of the Romani community in Latvia to focus on problematic issues and develop their own projects.
