Integration monitor

Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. On Friday, several diplomats of foreign countries visited a bilingual school in Sigulda (a small town nearby Riga). The visit has been organised by the Secretariat of the Special Assignments Minister for Social Integration to show a positive example of integration of Russian speakers into Latvian society. School children gave a concert and showed a documentary “We are choosing Latvia”
