  • Saeima will continue consideration of the draft amendments to the Immigration Law

Yesterday, the Saeima voted to continue consideration of the draft amendments to the Immigration Law started by the previous parliament. Currently, the Immigration Law envisages residence permits to third-country nationals investing or purchase of expensive real estate in Latvia. As reported, the National Union proposed to suspend issuing of such residence permits to the citizens of the Russian Federation.
