Integration monitor

Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. MP Janis Urbanovics (the Concord Centre) believes that people who do not speak Latvian is the result of wrong language policy in Latvia. Mr. Urbanovics believes that those who actively fight against the usage of the Russian language only strengthen the resistance of even fluent speakers to speak Latvian.
