Yesterday, the Saeima in the final reading has approved the social agreement between Latvia and Russia according to which pensions of about 15, 000 non-citizens will be raised due to the inclusion of years worked in Russia during Soviet times in the total length of their service. The Russia’s State Duma will ratify the agreement today.
