Integration monitor

Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. The Russian Minister of Interior Sergey Lavrov has stated that the European Union has to demand Latvia and Estonia to solve the situation concerning the massive number of non-citizens in Latvia and Estonia. Sergey Lavrov also stated that Russia will insist on inclusion of a paragraph on the protection of ethnic minorities in the new agreement between Russia and the EU.
