Lauku Avize reports that 6 candidates have applied for the post of the director of the State Language Centre. Two of the candidates agreed to disclose their names, and they are - lecturers at the Department of the Baltic languages of the University of Latvia Iveta Grinberga and Inga Ivanova. According to unofficial information head of the State Language Inspection Maris Birzgalis has applied for the post as well.
