Jauna interviews FF/LNNK chairperson Maris Grinblats. Regarding the language issue Grinblats stresses that the new norm in the Constitution stipulating that the working language of local governments should be the Latvian language was initiated by his party. He believes that language should be the number one priority in next years state budget. Grinblats states that the government has neglected language issues for the last decade and that the assumption that non-Latvians will be very eager to learn the language has not come true. Regarding the balance of political forces in the next Saeima, Grinblats thinks that no major changes will take place.
