Prime-Minister Skele says the ratification of Latvia's agreement with AMOCO and OPAB will not impair the country's relations with Lithuania. According to "DIENA", Lithuania suggested discussing the possibility of a trilateral agreement with the companies. The proposal was made during the meeting of the Prime-Ministers of the two countries in Palanga, Lithuania, showing that Lithuania has chosen a more flexible policy. Last Thursday "Tevzemei un Brivibai" suggested postponing the voting on the candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court. The faction insists on all judges (nominated by the Cabinet, by the Supreme Court, and by the Saeima) to be elected on the same day. A "TB" candidate has almost no chance to be elected having the lowest rating among other candidates.
