National Television and Radio Council could decide to enter amendments to the regulations on the State Language Law regarding proportion of programmes aired in Latvian and other languages. The new amendments would determine the proportions of programmes in different languages not for one single broadcasting station but for all stations in Latvia together, therefore, national minorities could have their broadcasting stations, which could air in their languages.
