Integration monitor

Integration monitor is a daily Latvian press digest on ethnic minority and society integration issues. The Monitor reviews the biggest Latvian dailies: Diena, Latvijas Avize, Neatkariga (in Latvian language), Vesti Segodnya (in Russian language). In specific cases other information sources are used. Latvian Centre for Human Rights is not responsible for information published by the media.

Telegraf reports about the EU project Intercultural Dialogue in Latvia coordinated by the Secretariat of the Special Assignments Minister for Social Integration. The European Commission and Latvian government have granted EUR 35, 000 each for realisation of the project. The aim of the project is to give representatives of various ethnicities, religions and youth movements an opportunity to inform the public about themselves trough mass media, to draw attention to their problems and achievements.
